Refreshing a brand identity for a non profit.
Overview
New Teacher Center (NTC) is a non profit organization dedicated to improving student learning by accelerating the effectiveness of new teachers and school leaders.
The Identity
I was tasked with a brand identity refresh. My solution was to visually tell the story of teachers and leaders uniting. This has positive impact on students and creates a ripple effect. Improving the process will improve the teachers and will impact our future generation.
This was communicated through a continuous line which was linked together like a network of people. As a pattern it speaks to the exponential impact NTC has on schools, teachers, students and communities.
Iconography
I developed a collection of icons to be used throughout the identity that were inspired by the logo design. The line weight, color and shapes were kept similar to establish a cohesive look and feel across the entire suite.
The Website
The website was designed using a subtle parallax scrolling effect for a distinctive experience that further told the story of the ripple effect.
