TYPOGRAPHY BOOK DESIGN

Below is a personal project that was made for no real client. The objective was to design a type specimen book for the typeface Futura designed by Paul Renner; Futura is a sans serif typeface. It was built around geometric forms, like circles, squares and triangles and has long ascenders and descenders. I designed the
Related Projects: MAGAZINE DESIGN, PUBLICATION DESIGNbook to reflect Paul Renner’s designs that were rigid, structured and geometric. Using simple shapes to create the pages helped reinforce the overall theme and typeface. I also incorporated a Bauhaus like design, which was an important design movement present during that time and can been seen in Futura as well.
